How long do you keep coffee past the roast date?Updated 7 months ago

The dedicated people of Eight Ounce's coffee program have determined the ideal window for whole-bean coffee to be 2-6 weeks from the coffee roast date. This conclusion came after a meticulous trial process to determine the peak consumable period of our coffees as they begin the journey from the roaster, to Eight Ounce Coffee, and eventually to you.

While we understand that some may feel hesitation towards drinking coffee reaching 6 weeks past the roast date, Eight Ounce Coffee has determined that coffee can maintain peak freshness up until this point, after which we offer discounted rates until the coffee is removed from our shelves at 8 weeks past the roast date.
