When a roaster approaches us requesting to join our coffee program, we always ask for samples so our coffee team can determine if they are a right fit.

If we have determined that the roaster hits all the notes expected in speciality coffee and fits in with the Eight Ounce Coffee roaster philosophy, we move forward with the expectation that the roaster can self-govern to maintain peak quality and standards. 

The resulting agency fosters our ongoing relationship with every roaster and allows for the utmost diversity in our coffee program – plus (as much as we'd like) it would be impossible to taste every bag of coffee that comes to us from our roasters!
